I spent a lot of my free time during the quarantine working on building a backyard chicken coop and run for my new flock. As a result, I've made many, many trips to Lowe's and other home improvement/hardware store for supplies. My 10-year-old Labrador retriever, Holly, loves car rides and I have many photos of us together over the years in this exact pose. She wasn't bothered by people in face masks, and I like to think she approves of the fabric on this one.
At first it felt awkward and uncomfortable to wear a mask, but the more I have worn it the more comfortable it is. It definitely feels like I'm missing something if I'm in public and not wearing one. I keep disposable masks in my car, because it's not fully a habit yet and it's been easy to forget to tuck one in a pocket or purse when heading out.
